Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior (Research)

Overview

Dr. Lesley Norris is a clinical psychologist and assistant professor of psychiatry and human behavior (research) at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Temple University and an NIMH-funded T32 postdoctoral fellowship in child mental health at Brown University and Bradley Hospital.

Together with fellow Pediatric Anxiety Research Center (PARC) researchers and clinicians, Dr. Norris is committed to advancing equitable access to high-quality exposure therapy for youth with anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. To this end, Dr. Norris’ research focuses on optimizing youth treatments to the individual and integrating such personalized approaches into real-world clinical decision-making contexts. She is also interested in improving identification and treatment of perinatal obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
