Overview

Cyrus Kosar is health services researcher and health economist whose research broadly pertains to the delivery of care in the Medicare Program. More specific areas he has focused on include post-acute care, long-term care, end-of-life care, rural health care, risk-adjustment, Medicare Advantage, extreme weather events and Medicare spending, and scope of practice reform. He is currently the principal investigator of a National Institute on Aging-funded R01 that will provide evidence on the impact of various post-acute and long-term care policies. Past funders include the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and Arnold Ventures.
